Where We Work: Algeria
In Algeria, our programs focused on inclusion—it was even the name of our major initiative there, IDMAJ, in Arabic.
To integrate marginalized youth both economically and socially, we worked in close cooperation with the US Embassy in Algiers, USAID, and a network of local partners. Through IDMAJ, we focused on capacity building for youth-serving NGOs, bolstering youth life skills through our Passport to Success® curriculum, and encouraging civic engagement.
