As part of an eleven-year partnership with Nokia, we worked with a member of our global partner network to prepare Aboriginal young Canadians to better communicate, resolve conflicts, and give back to their communities. Local Nokia employees mentored individual young men and women online, through a platform on the local partner’s website. Life skills proved vital again through another IYF-Nokia initiative that nurtured confidence through creative outlets such as film.
