Known locally as Zest, the program worked to help young people here develop critical life skills. The Finnish Children and Youth Foundation served as our implementing partner in supporting youth to be confident and responsible, work well in teams, and set goals. The foundation engaged national sports and entertainment figures as role models. Zest leveraged local media coverage, for example the national television program Buusteri, to reach a youth audience and start a conversation about important skills.
