Where We Work: Guatemala
We chose Guatemala as one of three regional hubs for our Obra initiative, which focused on building multi-sector partnerships to increase support for youth at risk and make youth a policy priority.
Obra partners in Guatemala created a National Agenda for Youth, participated in a forum with presidential candidates, and also worked with the Ministry of Education to introduce new technical and life skills (including conflict resolution) training into a proven program serving 250,000 youth weekly.
