Most recently, we studied the challenges for youth here as part of the Global Youth Wellbeing Index. IYF initiatives such as the Samsung Real Dreams and Youth Empowerment Program have emphasized all three components, while our Build Your Business (BYB) curriculum has made self-employment a viable option. As social entrepreneurs, local YouthActionNet® Global Fellows and fellows through a YouthActionNet® regional institute have been helping their Nigerian neighbors live healthier lives in a healthier environment. Through our work with international and local partners, more and more youth are winning jobs, creating their own, and contributing to their communities.
