Zimbabwe
Emphasizing inclusion and outcomes for young women, Zimbabwe:Works has been preparing marginalized young people to succeed in the workplace and as entrepreneurs. Passport to Success® has helped young Zimbabweans gain confidence, learn teamwork, and develop other life skills necessary for securing and keeping a job. Our Build Your Business curriculum taught young entrepreneurs key concepts and objectives, and we’ve connected self-starters with microfinance loans and savings and loan programs. Throughout it all, for the sustainability of these efforts, we work to build the technical and operational capacity of our local partners. Zimbabwe is also home to several YouthActionNet® Laureate Global Fellows, whose social entrepreneurship ventures are creating positive change.
