Skills for Prosperity Mexico is a labour markets Programme that focuses on improving the conditions for young people, particularly those with greater vulnerability, so they can transition more effectively from education to employment (E2E).

The Programme carries out its interventions from a cross-cutting focus on equity, inclusion (GESI), and institutional transformation. The main allies are in five states (Chihuahua, Jalisco, Oaxaca, Puebla, and Yucatán), and the priority is to work with the decision-makers in the institutions to achieve a significant institutional transformation.

Skills for Prosperity Mexico has five interventions with 16 sub-interventions. The goal is to reach at least 8 institutions with 1,800 teachers and administrative staff of TVET, HE, and Short Stay Training Centers trained; 10,400 students indirectly benefitted, and nearly 80 technical assistance activities provided.

So far, all the goals have been exceeded.
