For more than 30 years and in over 100 countries, the International Youth Foundation (IYF) has focused exclusively on helping young people succeed. 3. Project Background
Passport to Success® Traveler is an innovative, online life skills curriculum developed by the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and launched in early 2020. This mobile-optimized course aims to support young people aged 16 to 24 in developing essential work readiness skills through game-based learning. PTS® Traveler takes learners on a virtual journey around the globe, allowing them to explore in-demand life skills while trying out jobs in growth industries. The curriculum covers a range of critical skills, including time management, problem-solving, and self-confidence. With its gender-smart approach, PTS® Traveler is designed to address the unique needs of young women while providing vital life skills training to all genders. The course is currently available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, and Hinglish (Hindi in Roman script) languages and offers up to 14 hours of content, broken into bite-sized lessons for easy, on-the-go learning. In recognition of its impact, the course received a Gold award from the prestigious Brandon Hall Group for Best Advance in Social Impact Innovation in December 2020.
