Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, MEXICO MexicoAldo, a sociologist who specializes in funding state and municipal social programs, joined IYF in April 2024, bringing substantial expertise in program design, evaluation, administration, and technical-financial monitoring. With experience directing teams at both the municipal and state levels, Aldo has driven governmental strengthening projects and played a critical role in adopting and systematizing methods. Previously, he worked with local foundations with a state presence, which expanded his awareness of community-based programs.
Aldo received his bachelor's degree in sociology from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez and has expanded his knowledge via a variety of training programs focused on citizen security, fundraising, and program assessment. His skill set includes a results-oriented mindset, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving talents.
Throughout his career, Aldo has held a variety of positions, including Strategic Partnerships Analyst at a citizen observatory (Think Tank), Specialist in a project co-design lab, Supervisor of Monitoring and Evaluation of governmental institutional strengthening projects, and Coordinator of Monitoring and Technical Support for a youth training model. His ability to handle disputes, solve problems, and create stakeholder cooperation via strategic thinking and creativity have consistently contributed to his success in a variety of sectors.
