Private Equity Associate, Advent InternationalAndrea is Technology investor at Advent International where she partners with management teams and supports them in their growth acceleration journey. Andrea, originally from Peru, is passionate about creating opportunities to empower youth around the world. In 2015 Andrea founded SALTO PERU, a social enterprise providing consulting and business facilitation services to low-income entrepreneurs in the rural Andes. To date, SALTO has reached 500+ families, upskilling a team of 200+ university students who have in turn supported hundreds of entrepreneurs improve their businesses. In 2018, Andrea was selected as one of the Laureate Global Fellows, an IYF Fellowship for young social entrepreneurs. SALTO has also been recognized by the UNESCO and the VIVA Stephan Schmidheiny Awards.
More recently, Andrea launched Atisun Lab, a program promoting digital skills and supporting young leaders to launch impact and business ventures in response to the C19 pandemic. Atisun Lab has been supported by IYF's Global Resilience Fund and to date it has enabled 25 students develop digital and entrepreneurship skills, while working on 5 ventures.
Andrea holds an MBA from Oxford's Said Business School where she was a Forte Fellow and Scholar, an MSc in Economics for Development and an MSc in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford, where she was a CAF Development Bank of Latin America Scholar. Andrea has participated in various global forums such as the World Government Summit in Dubai.
