Andrea Padilla

Andrea joined IYF in 2012 as part of the Youth: Work Mexico initiative and currently works as a Deputy Program Director. Her passion for youth development was inspired by a youth-led social movement that emerged in response to violence in her hometown of Juárez, México. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in 2009, Andrea worked with private sector organizations in business and industrial marketing. In her role as Program Manager at IYF, she focuses on programs aimed at improving the technical and vocational training system in Mexico. She has gained extensive experience collaborating with IYF´s domestic and international partner organizations, providing them technical support in areas such as capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and program management, with an emphasis on initiatives for youth who are not in school or work.
