District Field Officer, ZIMBABWE ZimbabweAs a District Field Officer in IYF's Zimbabwe Office, Beaven is responsible for economic strengthening activities for rural households under the Pathways program. Beaven has professional experience in livelihoods programming, Orphans and Vulnerable Children(OVCs) programming, and Nutrition, Agriculture, and Food Security programming. Prior to joining IYF, Beaven held Business Development and Monitoring and Evaluation positions. His strengths lie in enterprise development through business development services such as financial inclusion, value chain development, inclusive business modeling, market linkages, and entrepreneurship. Beaven’s areas of competency include monitoring and evaluation systems, impact assessments, database management, qualitative and quantitative data analysis. During his time with Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT-HarvestPlus, Beaven has worked in the Consortium of International Agriculture Research Centres(CGIAR) and has experience in rural development projects funded by agencies such as FAO, UKAID, USAID, and Dunchurch Aid. He holds a BSc honours degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, and a certificate in projects Monitoring and Evaluation.
