Fiona joined IYF in 2024 as the Business Development Coordinator, bringing her expertise to help the team identify and pursue future funding opportunities in the public sector. Her role involves conducting in-depth analysis and research to navigate grant applications and project development. Prior to joining IYF, Fiona began her career developing and implementing international exchange programs funded by Department of State grants. She gained valuable insight into the grant management lifecycle, from application through final reporting.

During her time at Cultural Vistas from 2021 to 2023, Fiona served as a Program Officer, contributing to initiatives such as the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals. This role allowed her to facilitate cross-cultural exchange between the United States and Germany, and deepen her understanding of global partnerships. Fiona holds a BA in International Affairs and Political Science from Northeastern University. Her academic journey included internships in Boston, Berlin, and Mexico City, as well as a semester abroad in Lima, Peru. Her diverse experiences have enriched her cross-cultural perspectives, making her a valuable addition to the IYF team.
