Frankie joined IYF in 2020 after working as a peace educator in Indianapolis for over two years. As a peace educator, Frankie facilitated the learning and implementation of youth and adult-serving programs related to Restorative Practices, Implicit Bias, Conflict Resolution, and other topics of social and emotional learning. She has extensive experience as a youth worker and is a credentialed Child & Youth Care Professional (CYC-P) through the Child & Youth Care Certification Board. Frankie is passionate about supporting and motivating individuals through peacebuilding efforts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Foreign Affairs, with a minor in Latin American Studies, from the University of Virginia. She graduated from George Mason University and the University of Malta with a Master of Science and Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security, and she completed a thesis on Black hip-hop artists’ messages about police brutality. Frankie is currently back at George Mason University to pursue an MSW.
