Jessica is IYF’s Global Human Resources Director. She is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for IYF’s global human resources function with a focus on executing a progressive, flexible, and inclusive talent management program to ensure IYF continues to develop, engage and inspire staff in a manner aligned with IYF’s mission and values and reflects our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Jessica has over a decade of experience in human resources in the international development arena having worked for Catholic Relief Services and Democracy International. She supported strategic HR initiatives at all levels of the organizations, contributed to the start-up of new country program offices, and provided ongoing support of established programs with time spent in various parts of Africa along with emergency response work in the Philippines. Jessica’s involvement in youth programming began as an English Educator in Denmark and she continued this work as an English Language Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Armenia. Jessica has a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She holds the SHRM-SCP certification, which designates her as a Senior Certified Human Resources Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
