Kaitlyn Anderson

Corporate and Foundation Partnerships Coordinator, USA

Kaitlyn joined IYF in September 2022 in the role of  Corporate and Foundation Partnerships Coordinator. With a strong educational background, Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and a Master’s Degree in International Development with a specialization in Gender and Development, both from Clark University. Her academic journey also includes study abroad in Rennes, France and Dakar, Senegal.

Kaitlyn’s commitment to development work is evident through her role as a research assistant on a USAID sanitation project, where she focused on the well-being of youth and women in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. She brings mentoring experience from her time at Neighborhood Strings Music School and other teaching roles, including leading art workshops for Artists Striving to End Poverty in New York City.

Previously, Kaitlyn served as a member of the Advocacy and Campaigns team at Planned Parenthood, demonstrating her commitment to reproductive justice. She initiated a podcast highlighting reproductive justice champions, and has also served as a teaching assistant for international development courses.
