Lynda joined IYF in December of 2014 as a Program Manager for workforce development projects with youth in Argentina and Chile under the Walmart Foundation’s Women’s Economic Empowerment Global Initiative. She now serves as IYF's Senior Technical Advisor for Curriculum & Content. Lynda has more than 10 years of domestic youth program management experience in underserved communities in the areas of workforce development, college readiness, and academic enrichment—most recently in Baltimore, where she volunteers with Higher Achievement and the Esperanza Center at Catholic Charities. She served as a volunteer for over three years with Peace Corps Peru, first in youth development and later selected as Volunteer Regional Coordinator, coordinating site development as well overseeing a team of 15 volunteers. Lynda is fluent in Spanish and has limited training in Quechua and Swahili. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and as part of her undergraduate studies at Houghton College she studied in Tanzania and Mexico.
