Meseret Gizaw joined IYF in 2022 as a Technical Advisor for Basic Education and Skill Development as part of the Integrated Youth Activity- Kefeta Project in Ethiopia. Prior to joining IYF, he was an education coordinator, education specialist, and education and life skill officer for different projects in World Vision Ethiopia. In these roles, he focused on children's literacy and life skills development, particularly contributing to curriculum development and building the capacity of students, teachers, and volunteers. He also worked as a school principal and primary public school teacher in Ethiopia. Meseret holds BA in Educational Planning Management, a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), and diplomas and certificates in teaching young children and youth. He lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is passionate about supporting youth skill development.
