Before joining IYF, Myryem worked for a marketing agency where she coordinated and managed events to promote non-profit organizations and raise money for their causes. She maintained in-depth knowledge about the non-profit initiatives and educated audiences about ongoing issues as well as the different ways they could help. Prior to that, Myryem volunteered for AIESEC, a youth-led organization that encourages young students to volunteer or intern abroad to develop their leadership skills, step outside their comfort zones, and learn about other cultures. She helped students find these opportunities abroad where they could develop their skills and have a cultural exchange. She also hosted foreign students and assisted them throughout their journey to ensure they had a positive experience and a smooth cultural immersion. She has a BA in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising from Marymount University in Arlington.
