Waseem came to IYF in 2010 with over 23 years of experience in commercial and public sector development, where he offers a unique blend of knowledge and expertise in the areas of projects creation, setup, and operations. Waseem has a core set of competencies in compliance, building financial models, systems, procurement, grants management, budgets, and mentorship of teams to operate these systems. Waseem played key operational roles in the successful operations of several local and international development organizations including Birzeit University, PalTrade, DAI, Chemonics, and Tetra Tech ARD. Waseem is in the last stage of completing his PhD in entrepreneurship and innovation from ISM Paris - France, and jointly with Baruch College in NY, USA, holds a Certified Fraud Examiner certificate, and speaks Arabic and English.
