What Personal Information Does IYF Gather?
Information You Give Us
We receive and store any information you enter into our website or give us in any other way. This includes subscribing to our e-Newsletters, donating to us, or submitting a form (such as a comment) on our website. We ask for personal information so that we can fulfill your request and return your message. If you choose not to provide any of that information, we may not be able to fulfill your request, but you will still be free to browse the other sections of the websites owned and administered by IYF.
If you subscribe to our e-Newsletter, from time to time, we will send you email announcements about our organizational impact, new programs, and other news related to youth development. If you register for an event, we may invite you to subscribe to our e-Newsletter. The quality news, stories, and information on IYFGlobal.org and in our newsletter are supported by donations and grants. Some demographic data volunteered through our websites and channels are used statistically to provide our board and our funders with an accurate profile of our overall site visitors and subscribers. We never make any personal data collected from these surveys available to a third party.
The Website is targeted to users who are above the age of 18. The International Youth Foundation has no intention of collecting any personally-identifiable information (such as name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) from individuals under eighteen years of age. (In general, any personally-identifiable information collected on our Website is collected without any information indicating the age of the person providing the information, except, where appropriate, to confirm that the person is of legal age.) Where appropriate on our Website, the International Youth Foundation will specifically instruct children not to submit such information. If a child under eighteen has provided us with personally-identifiable information, a parent or guardian of that child should contact us at (410) 951-1500 or at [email protected] if they would like this information deleted from our records. We will use reasonable efforts to delete the child's information from our existing files.

Through the use of these functions, you accept that IYF is permitted to edit, moderate, and reuse comments for in-house promotional materials. Promotions and advertising are not allowed in this medium, nor is derogatory or hateful speech.
