Bhindzula will enable women entrepreneurs in Mozambique to expand their economic opportunities and grow their existing enterprises. Funded by Mozal, the two-year initiative's name means 'creating income and profit' in the Changana language. To start, Bhindzula has used an inclusive market systems development approach to identify and address the constraints that prevent women from fully benefiting from the markets they participate in. Working with two women's associations, entrepreneurs will be trained in business management fundamentals, financial literacy, and soft skills using IYF's Passport to Success® life skills curriculum. In order to grow their businesses, women will also receive technical capacity training, tools, and/or equipment and access to financial products and services. With an approach based on inclusively and resilience, Bhindzula will increase women's earning and their agency over that income.
