IDMAJ

We worked in close cooperation with the US Embassy in Algiers and USAID to implement IDMAJ, a three-year initiative to expand opportunities for Algerian youth in employment, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. The target demographic included youth in disadvantaged communities in remote areas of Algeria, including the under-served highlands and Saharan regions. The initiative, whose name means “integration” in Arabic, engaged local youth-serving organizations to help them support young people in targeted communities through coordinated programming. The program also aimed to increase youth awareness of the Algerian government’s existing programs and services.
