NetworkIT

The NetworkIT program, funded by the Cisco Networking Academy, aims to enhance the employability of technical education students in Guanajuato through specialized training aligned with market demands for IT roles. This program seeks to build the capacity of technical education campuses by equipping approximately 200 youth with cybersecurity skills, supported by teacher training and the integration of Cisco’s curricula and learning management systems.
Recognizing that over 70% of entry-level IT roles require some degree of English proficiency, the program also includes a pilot initiative to provide essential English language skills for IT. This component targets around 500 TVET students across Mexico, focusing on improving comprehension and communication in English. Through targeted exercises in grammar, vocabulary, reading, and listening, students will develop the specific English skills highly valued in the IT industry.
By equipping students with both technical and language skills, NetworkIT is paving the way for a new generation of skilled professionals ready to thrive in the dynamic IT landscape and meet the growing demands of the sector.
