Youth:Work
Launched in 2008, Youth:Work brings comprehensive employment and entrepreneurship programs to young people ages 15 to 29 around the world. Funded by USAID, the initiative enables their bureaus and missions to easily access our proven youth employability programs, services, and expertise. Through Youth:Work young people are gaining access to vocational, technical, and life skills training; job-placement services; entrepreneurship education; and support for job creation through start-up and small and medium youth-led enterprises. Between 2008 and 2013, Youth:Work programs reached more than 40,000 youth and leveraged $65 million in support of youth employment and entrepreneurship efforts around the world.
