CYEP Conference – Employment Trends in the Region & the Issue of Job Creation

This event presentation includes the information shared by Mr. Reynold Simons at the Caribbean Youth Empowerment Program (CYEP) conference “Investing in the Future: Empowering Young People” held in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, on June 25 and 26, 2013.

Mr. Simons is Senior Specialist Employment and Labour Market Policies, International Labor Organization Sub-Regional Office for the Caribbean, and he participated in the “Youth Trends and Challenges in the Caribbean” panel. He discussed the recent economic downturn and how it will affect youth employment plans and policies.
