Punjab Vocational Training Council: Using Muslim Philanthropy for Youth Employability

This study presents the lessons and the challenges of youth employment in Pakistan. It examines the case study of Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC), which has pioneered a way to channel Zakat funds, or obligatory Muslim philanthropy, to support an effective model of vocational technical training developed with the substantial involvement of the private sector.
