Studies & Reflections #2: Youth Unemployment, A Structural & Global Problem


This study is the second in the entra21 Studies and Reflections series. It analyzes the phenomenon of youth unemployment and its global dimensions and examines which are most relevant to the entra21 program. In particular, it looks at youth unemployment as a vector of poverty and social exclusion. The second and third parts of the study address structural unemployment by looking at skills gaps. The study proposes the conceptual framework for the design of job training and placement programs for victims of this phenomenon. The study is available only in Spanish.
