Transitions to Work: Advancing Career Education in Secondary Schools in Palestine

This case study presents findings from the Youth Entrepreneurship Development (YED) initiative of the International Youth Foundation (IYF) in Palestine supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). It describes YED’s efforts through the School to Career (StC) initiative to enable more than 5,380 students at 54 secondary schools in the West Bank to make informed career decisions and plan their professional and academic futures. Implemented in collaboration with the Palestine Ministry of Education and Higher Education, StC sought to increase the capacity of youth-serving professionals and organizations to deliver quality career guidance services well into the future.
