Youth Employment in Northern Senegal: Creating Job Opportunities for Young People

This report presents findings from the Global Partnership for Youth Employment (GPYE) on youth employment in the region of Saint-Louis, Senegal. It discusses innovative actions that can improve the employment prospects of young people, particularly in the agricultural sector. In addition to agribusiness, the report considers the problem from the perspective of youth’s job-planning objectives and the dynamics of the job market. The report includes recommendations for improved integration of young people into the economy.
