YOUth No. 4, Guest Commentary: Young People Need Us More than Ever & We Need Them

This article by Wendy Cunningham and Justin Yifu Lin appeared in the Summer 2010 edition of YOUth magazine. Cunningham is Coordinator of the World Bank’s Children and Youth Program, and Lin is a Chief Economist and Senior Vice President at the World Bank. In this article, they press for greater investments in young people’s social and economic well being—even in difficult times—and warn of the severe consequences of inaction.
