YouthMap Tanzania: Assets & Opportunities

These documents present findings from the YouthMap program in Tanzania. They describe circumstances, opportunities, and challenges for youth in mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, and assess their hopes, needs, and aspirations. The two reports explore youth and stakeholder perspectives in the areas of education, employment, health, and political and civic participation.

The three policy briefs (“Youth Perspectives”) expand on youth viewpoints on employment, leadership, and the 2015 elections. The assessment was implemented by the International Youth Foundation in partnership with Restless Development and in close coordination with USAID/Tanzania.
