Adam Yockey
Director, Global & US Programs
Adam Yockey serves as Director of Global and U.S. Programs at the International Youth Foundation, where he leads cross-functional teams and oversees projects in more than 15 countries. His work focuses on expanding access to creative youth development and workforce readiness programs that equip young people with the skills and opportunities needed to succeed in a rapidly changing global economy.
Adam brings over 2 decades of experience in youth development and education, with deep roots in community-based programming. Prior to joining IYF in 2022, he held several leadership roles at the Martha O’Bryan Center in Nashville, Tennessee. As Zone Director for the Nashville After Zone Alliance (NAZA), a mayoral initiative, he helped scale citywide extended learning programs serving middle school students. He later served as Senior Director of High School, College & Career Programs, leading comprehensive, year-round initiatives supporting youth in East Nashville through academic, college access, and career readiness pathways.
Adam began his career as a high school language arts teacher, grounding his leadership in direct classroom experience and a commitment to student success. Across his roles, he has remained dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for young people to explore their potential, build critical skills, and achieve long-term success.
He holds an M.S. in English Education and an M. Ed. in Teaching and Instruction.
