Adam Yockey

Project Director, Global Programs

Adam Yockey is a Program Director of a new IYF project which develops youth skills by connecting them to creative learning opportunities. Prior to joining IYF, he taught high school language arts for 5 years before joining the Martha O’Bryan Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He worked 6 years there as a Director helping to develop a mayor’s afterschool initiative into a city intermediary (NAZA) which now provides year-round extended learning opportunities to middle school youth across the city. He served another 6 years as a Senior Director where he successfully led various grant-funded programs providing year-round supports to middle school, high school, and post-secondary youth in East Nashville. Adam is passionate about connecting youth to opportunities for self-discovery and growth at IYF. He also holds as M.S. in English Education and an M.Ed. in Teaching and Instruction.
