Aily joined the IYF team in 2022 as a Program Coordinator. She is passionate about project management and design regarding comprehensive educational counseling to improve laboural opportunities for vulnerable groups, such as youth, women, elderly, people with disabilities and migrants. She brings her experience from Mexico City's public employment services, where she served as an employment counselor and labor mobility analyst for jobseekers, mainly young people, helping them to find labor opportunities in Canada, Germany and the United States. Prior to that, she also worked in the Mexican Foreign Affairs Ministry, leading scholarship processes between Embassies, students and academic institutions abroad, in her position as academic advisor. During college, Aily organized several MUN Conferences, coordinating fundraising and logistic processes, along with various UN and government offices, as well as universities in Mexico and Latin America. This allowed her to acquire relevant skills regarding negotiation and effective communication strategies, as well as leadership. Aily holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with a specialization in International Migration and International Security. She also completed an internship at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in Spain.
