Alejandra Torres joined IYF in November 2022 as a Program Coordinator for IYF's Google-supported interventions in Mexico. Alejandra brings over five years of experience working as a political strategist and team project manager. She has expertise in areas including international cooperation, fundraising, leadership, team management, and the development of programs for Non-Governmental Organizations, including UNICEFAlejandra holds a B.A. in international affairs from the University of Guadalajara and a two-year diploma in European Studies from the Erasmus+ Programme through the European Union. Additionally, she participated in an academic exchange at Utrecht University in the Netherlands where she focused on Gender Studies and Human Rights and collaborated as an International Project Mentor for Education Programs between the Netherlands and Spain. With her strong communication and organization skills, her passion for gender-focused projects, and her talent for connecting with people, Alejandra looks forward to representing the values of IYF through our programs to improve the future and the quality of life of the young people in Mexico.
