Liz joined IYF in 2022 as the Business Development Coordinator for the Official Development Assistance (ODA) team. She is a Baltimore native and has lived in several countries (Panama, Brazil, Italy, France, South Korea, and Ireland). She has a professional background in international development, having done an internship at UNICEF’s Latin American and Caribbean Regional Office and worked at Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) and the International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum). She has also worked and volunteered with international education programs that focus on intercultural learning and global citizenship education. Liz has a BA in International Affairs from Florida State University and an MSc in Sustainable Development from Technological University Dublin. She is passionate about sustainability and how it relates to international development and social justice.
