Juan Carlos Hernandez

Juan has been with IYF since 2002. He is an attorney and an expert in participatory program evaluation and design, with 25 years of experience in Latin America. He is currently responsible for the design and implementation of IYF’s youth employment programs in Latin America as well as the facilitation of public-private partnerships to advance youth employability in the region. He also provides technical support for improving the quality of services of youth training and employability programs. Juan previously served as the Employability Coordinator at Corporación Paisajoven and Executive Director of the Fundación Solidaria la Visitación in Medellín, Colombia. He has been a speaker at many international events and a consultant on youth employment issues for the German Technical Cooperation Agency GTZ, the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia, and the World Bank.
