Katia joined IYF in 2018 and currently serves as Deputy Program Director. In this role, she takes the lead in managing the IT program portfolio and gender initiatives within the Mexico field office. Additionally, Katia plays a critical role in maintaining donor relationships and overseeing budgeting activities. Katia's professional career has been marked by a diverse background with engagements in both the public and private sectors. Her experience includes national and international organizations where she has held various administrative, operational, and logistical roles. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Katia also holds a Certificate in Business English from the International Language Academy of Canada in Toronto and a Diploma in Strategic Planning from the University of Anahuac. Her diverse experience and commitment to IYF's mission make her a valuable asset to the organization.
