Maria Jose joined IYF’s Mexico Office in August 2025, bringing more than a decade of experience in accounting and a strong commitment to advancing social impact through financial integrity and transparency. In her role, she applies her technical expertise and cross-sector experience to ensure sound financial practices that strengthen IYF’s mission and sustainability.

She has worked across government, private, and nonprofit sectors, including roles at government social security institutions, Deloitte, MSI, the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative, and AIR, focusing on compliance and strengthening financial systems.

Maria Jose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidad de Ecatepec (2010–2014) and a Tax Specialization completed in 2020. Beyond her technical knowledge, she is driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, adaptability, and professional ethics—qualities that guide her work and commitment to empowering communities through IYF’s mission.
