Mariana Vázquez joined IYF as an Awards Officer in March 2024. Mariana brings valuable experience from previous positions, including her time as a Social and Behavioral Change Analyst at UNICEF Mexico and her two-year stint with the British Embassy’s Prosperity Program.

Mariana is a graduate of the University of Anáhuac in Mexico City, where she studied International Relations. With a deep passion for the arts, Mariana wrote her bachelor’s thesis on the cultural impact of the visual arts in Japan’s cultural diplomacy and holds a diploma in contemporary art. Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, she currently calls Mexico City her home.
