Alberto Cabanes, Founder of Adopta Un Abuelo

Alberto is the founder of Adopta Un Abuelo, an organization which connects Spanish youth to elders in their communities, in an effort to combat social isolation. Since 2014, Adopta Un Abuelo has matched 600+ volunteers with 365 elders. These remarks were delivered at “Youth Impact: Unleashing the Power of Youth to Deliver on Global Goals,” a joint symposium hosted by IYF and Georgetown University on October 11, 2018.
