Baltimore Agencies Pilot Promising Pro Salud Approaches

Over three months, IYF partnered with youth-serving agencies in Baltimore to pilot Órale, a holistic employability and wellness program. Developed by Pro Salud in Tijuana, Mexico, Órale trains youth to educate and support their peers. Said one training participant, “The program helps you know who you are and what you can do.” Partners are now looking at how to integrate the program into their year-round offerings. The pilot was made possible through (Re)Connecting Youth, an IYF initiative supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
