Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan Opens Youth Leadership & Livelihoods Conference

On October 7, 2010, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan opened the International Youth Foundation’s Youth Leadership & Livelihoods Conference with a video message in which she called for leaders in all sectors to mobilize and ensure today’s youth are healthy, productive and engaged citizens. “Poverty, ignorance and despair take a toll no young person should bear,” she said. “We have to do more. Our future—and theirs—depends on it.”
