SUMMARY DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will support the development of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) logical framework and will be responsible for coordinating a tracking mechanism to track the Program’s results on a regular basis. Furthermore, he will work closely with the IT expert to ensure that poor household monitoring and tracking forms and surveys are integrated within the Program’s Case Management System.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) logical framework and Case Management Systems (CMS) tools and surveys in coordination with the IT Expert and Team Leader.
- Work in collaboration with the IT expert in order to ensure systematic linkages between tracking KPIs and the Case Management System
- Provide day to day coordination in the implementation of IOWP’s KPI system in accordance with KPI Logical Framework, working closely with implementing partners to ensure that accurate data is collected in a timely, systematic, and efficient manner. Ensure any modifications to the overarching KPI framework are implemented across all partners.
- serve as the primary point person for all monitoring related work, providing regular briefings to the senior management on achievements and issues requiring attention
- Manage the information-gathering process for monthly, quarterly and annual results and performance reports, in addition to preparing data for other briefings, summaries, papers, presentations, etc. for various audiences as needed
- Maintain all Monitoring & Evaluation tracking forms and tools related to the Program’s data collection system, ensuring that data is up to date;
- Support the Team Leader to compile, analyze and document cross cutting and community level Monitoring & Evaluation data, as well as good practices, lessons learned, trends, cross-cutting policy and implementation issues, etc.
SUPERVISOR
Reports directly to the Team Leader based in Amman.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent standard of education.
- 3-5 years of related practical experience in monitoring and evaluation with a local or international NGO in Jordan.
- Experience implementing and/or managing data collection processes and procedures.
- Oral and written fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to translate routine documents from Arabic to English.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
