JuventudES
Equipping youth with job skills, life skills, and pathways to employment through community partners.

Program Description
In partnership with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and the Hilton Global Foundation, IYF created the JuventudES program to connect young people to job opportunities in the hospitality industry. JuventudES empowers participants through partnerships with local organizations, reaching youth in their communities.
JuventudES is a two-month training program that provides young people with the opportunity to:
1. Study culinary skills relevant for jobs in Mexico’s hospitality and tourism sector.
2. Explore and develop life skills through completion of IYF’s Passport to Success (PTS)® curriculum.
3. Connect with available jobs through personalized case management.
Change in Action
Since its launch in 2022, more than 2,159 young people have enrolled—surpassing initial targets—with 67% women participating. Through the intensive 6–8 week training track, graduates report a 92.6% improvement in socio-emotional skills, 53.3% employment, and 63.9% enrollment in education pathways.
“Before JuventudES, I felt lost. Here I found guidance, community, and a clear path forward. I discovered my strengths, set real goals, and even found my first job. This program changed my life.”
