We partner with young people to design solutions that are relevant, trusted, and responsive to their needs. Their valuable insights and feedback help shape our program priorities, ensuring we address the challenges that matter most to them.
We also invest in youth leadership through youth-led grant-making initiatives that empower young people to allocate resources to projects that matter most to them, their peers, and their communities. Through co-created campaigns, learning resources, and other tools, our work reflects young people’s lived experiences and perspectives. By sharing power and decision-making, we create stronger programs while helping develop the next generation of leaders.

Young people with learning differences engage in virtual and in-person sessions to help make training more effective for all learners. These young people are defining long-term change.
PTS Traveler
The development of PTS Traveler, a gamified digital experience based on IYF’s flagship Passport to Success program, was shaped by research and direct input from young people in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, India, and beyond. Youth informed every aspect of the experience, from pacing and visual design to personas and geographic representation. User testing and surveys ensured the final product reflected their preferences, including its name: Traveler.
