YOUth No. 3, Guest Commentary: “Peace: Let Youth Lead the Way”

This article by Martti Ahtisaari appeared in the Spring 2009 edition of YOUth magazine. Ahtisaari, the former President of Finland, was the recipient of the 2008 Nobel Peace Prize. He played a key role in establishing the Balkan Children and Youth Foundation (BCYF) with the International Youth Foundation (IYF) in 2000. In this article, he discusses the importance of youth involvement in their communities.
