CYEP Conference – Supporting Youth at Risk from Training to Employment: Meeting their Psycho-Social Needs

This event presentation includes the information shared by Deborah Bathley-Francis at the Caribbean Youth Empowerment Program (CYEP) conference “Investing in the Future: Empowering Young People” held in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, on June 25 and 26, 2013.

Ms. Barthley-Francis is Quality Systems and Human Resources Officer at the Goddard Catering Group (Antigua) Ltd., and she participated in the “Supporting Youth at Risk from Training to Employment: Meeting their Psycho-Social Needs” panel. Ms. Barthley-Francis offered an employer’s view of working with at risk youth from the CYEP program, why her organization decided it was important work with youth at risk, and the types of support young people need to be successful in the workplace.
