FedEx Case Study

Across Latin America, the logistics sector is growing fast—but the shortage of skilled talent continues to hold it back. Jóvenes con Entrega, a program developed by the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and supported by FedEx, was built to address this challenge directly. Grounded in research and labor market data, the program embeds logistics training into public education systems, aligning learning with real industry needs and creating new career pathways for young people.

This case study explores how deep, ongoing engagement from the private sector can help drive more effective workforce development—while expanding access to opportunity in communities where it matters most. From curriculum co-design to program expansion, Jóvenes con Entrega shows what’s possible when education, employment, and industry come together around a shared goal.

At IYF, part of our long-standing experience lies in documenting what works—capturing best practices that lead to sustainable, scalable, and innovative programs.
